Hey guys, here’s a little pdf collecting odds and ends from the past few years. The vast majority of the stuff is from this blog, with some things I haven’t shown and plenty of Prophet pencils and inks.
Coming out of this slump, I thought this might be a good way to seal off and tuck away the old stuff and move onto new things. It’s basically just an abridged version of this blog that you can take offline if you want. The drawings are in roughly chronological order, from old to new.
She’s the best.
OK. here is the 2006-2007 sketchbook. If you’ve been to my livejournal blog you’ve probably seem some or all of these images.
The images in all the sketchbooks are, for the most part, in chronological order.
(for my own amusement I made one with a variant cover)
"She was a friend. I just didn’t like her very much."
A mashup of that one tv show(evangelion) and the other one tv show (rick/morty)

I only did the lackluster doodle, requester had the massively fine idea for the text.
I didnt realize it was Doom Patrol’s anniversary this year.
Right after Animal Man I was pushing to do Doom Patrol with Lemire. I’ve expressed my interest in doing the book to DC several times but it doesn’t seem to be something thats ever going to happen.
Subsequently, I started developing a Doom Patrol simulacrum to do in Zuerst:Science Fiction Magazine.
The story was that something catastrophic happened on a space station, on mars or somewhere. A rescue mission later discovered everyone dead but one of the Rovers had become a sentient robot and was the sole ‘survivor’ of the event.
Chief was a professor/roboticist at an amalgam of MIT-Boston Dynamics. He was called in as a consultant to examine the weird robot they found in space.
And here is why I abandoned the story—— one of Chief’s (MIT) students goes on a shooting rampage at the school, Chief catches a bullet which paralyzes him.
The student has a standoff with the police, and is ultimately taken into custody. Some supernatural stuff is revealed about him and he later comes back to threaten Chief’s family as Mr.Nobody.
I still intend to do a Doom Patrol copy at some point. The next version will probably be a more direct 1to1 scale copy.
How Leslie Nielsen really went out—battling Skeletor.
It’s so weird to find this old doodle on a random googling.
